About Us
Started with only a handful of people, the MIT Variety Team now has more than 50 students from various departments as active entertainers and performers.
This is the right place to be if you’re interested to act, write, edit or pretty much do anything related to theatre and stage play.
Who We Are
We are not Athenaeum. We are not Anti-Athenaeum. We don't belong to any department. We are "the department". Department Of Variety and Entertainment.
MIT Variety Team is a student organization which was formed in the year 2008 as an informal organisation to nurture the acting and miming skills of budding actors in MIT.
What We Do
We make you wonder. We make you laugh. We never fail to entertain.
We play the key role in organizing the annual activities of Athenaeum such as SIVARANJANI, MITAFEST and even the activity of Hostel Comittee,HOMEFEST.
Apart from intra college entertainment, we keep our eyes out on all inter college cultural events in and around Chennai.
